What Are Full Mouth Dental Implants?

Full mouth dental implants replaces an entire row or both rows of teeth to completely reconstruct your smile. Four to eight dental implants are placed below the gum line depending on your oral health, gums, and bone density. Once healed, an entire row of permanent teeth is attached to the implants.

Gone are the days of difficult eating with dentures–Full mouth dental implants look and feel incredibly natural, making them the superior option for replacing teeth.

Are Full Mouth Dental Implants Painful?

At Fort Worth Family and Implant Dentistry, IV sedation is used during your procedure so you're relaxed and feel no pain. It's also common that you'll have little to no memory of the procedure.

After the procedure and once the numbness is gone, you may experience some discomfort and soreness. You may experience some aches and pain during the first week following the surgery, but we will prescribe pain medication to help you manage any pain.
